Nestled within a captivating 12-acre organic fruit farm known as Mana Aina, which translates to the power of the earth, this charming studio provides an escape into nature with stunning views of the lush landscape and the nearby national tropical forest surrounding the dormant Haleakala volcano.

The studio spans an inviting 600 square feet, featuring solid brick construction, elegant stucco walls, tile flooring, and high-beam ceilings that contribute to the open airy feel. Sliding doors lead you directly into your private slice of paradise, where ornamental trees, vibrant tropical plants, and seasonal fruit trees thrive in harmony.

On the ocean side of Mana Aina, a vast 50-acre forest awaits exploration, while on the east, a picturesque gulch with a seasonal stream meanders from Haleakala’s rain forest down to the ocean, home to some of the world’s largest surf waves at Jaws. The tranquility of East Kuiaha Road enhances the atmosphere, providing a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle.

Your stay might include encounters with local wildlife, such as geckos and various insects, as we maintain an eco-friendly environment crucial for the health of our plants. If you prefer a more manicured landscape, consider one of Maui's south shore resorts.

While your surroundings offer solitude, you'll find a selection of fantastic dining options and shopping just a short 6-minute drive away. For organic and healthy meals, Mana Foods in Paia is less than 10 minutes away, and the Pauwela Cannery is perfect for casual dining. Additional culinary delights await at the Haiku Cannery, featuring restaurants like Nuka Sushi and Colleen's Restaurant for everything from burgers to pizza. Don’t miss the vegetarian options at Vegout and the must-try Maui Kombucha Bar.

If you're visiting during wave season, experience the thrill of watching rideable waves at Jaws, or explore the hiking trails through the Makawao Forest and try out the zip line at Piiholo Ranch. For your convenience, please bring your own drinking water unless you prefer county tap water, which can have a chlorinated taste. A water filter is available by the kitchen sink. Additionally, feel free to bring any necessary supplies, including food items and laundry detergent. Be mindful of avoiding food smells in the studio; we kindly ask that you cover pans and clean up thoroughly to avoid impacting future guests' experiences.

Please note that fruit picking is not permitted on our trees, as we host over 600 guests annually.

Our property consists of three separate studios, each fully equipped for privacy and comfort. Although they share hallways, they are separated by large, thick brick walls designed to minimize noise. Each unit ensures an intimate atmosphere with its own entrance.

In the bedroom area, you’ll find a medium-softness memory foam California king bed and a full-size sofa bed for additional sleeping arrangements. The private bathroom includes a bathtub, overhead shower, bidet, and all essential toiletries.

A fully equipped kitchen allows for delightful meal preparations, featuring all necessary appliances and utensils. The dining table comfortably accommodates four guests. To assist you during your stay, complimentary laundry facilities are open from 9 AM to 7 PM, and the internet is dependable with SpaceX Starlink service.

At Mana Aina, we prioritize tranquility. To maintain this atmosphere, please refrain from loud music or disturbances during your stay. Should you wish to host an event, please reach out so we can discuss the details.

Feel free to explore the grounds with leisurely walks or jogging, and parking is available for up to two vehicles. If you need space for a third car, let us know in advance.
